Sue is a local resident with her family in the Briars Ward and runs a small business on the Mornington Peninsula. She brings legal expertise, small business experience and grassroots community engagement to champion practical, transparent decisions on council.

Backing overdue maintenance and upgrades to roads and footpaths across the ward, so residents aren’t left waiting years for basic repairs.

Championing the esplanade bike path from Mount Martha to Dromana, better parking solutions, and practical measures that make our streets and public spaces safer for everyone.
What matters to me
Roads and footpaths shouldn’t be an afterthought — they’re how our community moves, connects and stays safe. I want to see real investment in fixing potholes and building footpaths, improving pedestrian accessways, and better linking our local towns so residents can get where they need to go safely and easily.
But infrastructure is only part of the story. As a parent of a teenager and child that has grown up on the Mornignton Peninsula, I care deeply about community safety and cohesion — building better local networks and neighbourly relationships that make our streets and public spaces safer and more connected for all people.
That includes dignity and respect for our elderly residents. I want communities that embrace accessible spaces, so older residents are enabled to socialise, stay involved, and have access to the resources that support them — not left on the outside looking in.
